On the Huliaypole direction, Russian forces are attempting to use the capture of Velyka Novosilka to advance further north of the village toward the administrative border of Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk Oblasts. Russian forces resumed offensive operations northeast, north, and west of Velyka Novosilka after an operational pause. The enemy captured Novoocheretuvate after crossing the Mokri Yaly River.

Russian forces also intensified their offensive on the northeastern and western flanks of Velyka Novosilka. The 57th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 5th Combined Arms Army attacked near Novosilka and Bahatyr. The 60th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 5th Combined Arms Army broke through Ukrainian defenses north of Vremivka and captured several strongholds in the area. On the Orikhiv direction, Russian forces advanced in the areas of Shcherbaky, Stepove, Novoandriivka, and Pyatykhatky.

Ukrainian Defense Forces counterattacked near Pyatykhatky and Kamianske.

General conclusion:

  • In the offensive zone of the 20th Motorized Rifle Division of the 8th Combined Arms Army, fierce battles are taking place north of Vozdvyzhenka. The advanced units of the 5th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade and two motorized rifle regiments of the enemy Territorial Troops are unsuccessfully trying to expand the area of penetration by capturing Yelyzavetivka and advancing in the direction of Baranivka – Tarasivka. The enemy managed to seize the road junction on the Pokrovsk – Bakhmut highway north of Vozdvyzhenka but was soon pushed out by a counterattack from Ukrainian Defense Forces. All enemy attempts to occupy Yelyzavetivka have also been unsuccessful so far. The only success of the occupiers in this area is the capture of Zelenе Pole.
  • As a result of a series of successful “Khortytsia” OSG counterattacks in the area of Pishchane, Dachenske, and Lysivka, which led to the liberation of Pishchane and the pushing back of enemy positions near Dachenske and Lysivka, the forces and assets of not only the 35th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 41st Combined Arms Army but also the 2nd Combined Arms Army were constrained. To stabilize the situation south of Pokrovsk, the enemy deployed the 506th and 589th Motorized Rifle Regiments of the 27th Motorized Rifle Division and was forced to engage the reserve of the 41st Combined Arms Army – the 348th Motorized Rifle Regiment. Attempts to restore positions near Pishchane continue, with attacks on the village from the south and on the advanced positions north of it by the forces of the 74th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade supported by the 55th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade.
  • The enemy’s “Tsentr (Center)” Operational Grouping on the Pokrovsk direction has made no advances on any of its fronts for three days and was forced to retreat from previously occupied positions in several areas. The 41st Combined Arms Army is unable to continue its offensive to the north and northwest to accomplish its primary objective – to envelop Pokrovsk from the west and cut off the road to Pavlohrad.
  • The Russian command in the theater of war is focusing its main attention not on Pokrovsk but on the adjacent Novopavlivka and Toretsk directions. The transfer of the 90th Tank Division of the 41st Combined Arms Army from Pokrovsk to the Novopavlivka direction is clearly linked to the enemy’s tactical successes in the area of Andriivka, where the 428th Motorized Rifle Regiment and the 67th Rifle Regiment managed to penetrate relatively deeply into the “Khortytsia” OSG defense with the 6th, 80th, and 239th Tank Regiments, along with the 228th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 90th Tank Division, reaching the Nadiivka – Sribne line, reinforced by several units of the 589th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 27th Motorized Rifle Division of the 2nd Combined Arms Army.
  • Five motorized rifle brigades deployed by the enemy on a relatively narrow front south of the Vovcha River, from Ulakly to Rozdolne, indicate the enemy’s intention to break through to at least the Konstyantynopil – Rozlyv line further west.

Change in the line of contact (LoC):

  • There were 90 combat engagements on various fronts.
  • On the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attempted twice to break through the defensive lines near Vovchansk.
  • On the Kupyansk direction, five Russian attacks took place, with assault actions repelled near Zahryzove.
  • On the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked seven times, attempting to penetrate Ukrainian defense near Kopanky, Novolyubivka, Terny, Yampolivka, and Kolodyazi.
  • On the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked three times in the area of Vasyukivka.
  • On the Toretsk direction, the enemy conducted 13 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Krymske, Shcherbynivka, and Dyliivka.
  • On the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped 29 enemy assault actions toward Vodyane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Svyrydonivka, Promin, Pishchane, Serhiivka, Andriivka, Ulakly, Udachne, Nadiivka, and Molodetske.
  • On the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy conducted five attacks toward Konstyantynopil and Burlatske.
  • On the Orikhiv Direction, occupying forces launched three assaults on Ukrainian Defense Forces positions near Shcherbaky and Pyatykhatky.
  • On the Kursk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue operations, repelling 15 attacks. The enemy carried out 31 airstrikes.
  • In the Black Sea-Azov naval operational area, the enemy naval group on combat duty consists of:
    • Black Sea: 1 ship, including 1 cruise missile carrier; the total salvo is 4 cruise missiles.
    • Mediterranean Sea: 4 ships, including 3 cruise missile carriers; the total salvo is 26 cruise missiles.

Supporting operation:

  • Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a UAV strike on a power substation in the Dinsky District of Krasnodar Krai, Russia. The Novovelichkovskaya oil pumping station and a power substation were also hit.

Changes in the enemy disposition:

  • The 27th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 1st Tank Army operates near Lozova, and the 12th Tank Regiment of the 1st Tank Division of the 1st Tank Army is engaged near Zelenyi Hai.
  • The “Nevskyi” Volunteer Reconnaissance and Assault Brigade of the “Volunteer Assault Corps” operates near Orikhovo-Vasylivka.
  • The 6th and 239th Tank Regiments of the 90th Tank Division of the 41st Combined Arms Army are advancing near Nadiivka.
  • The 71st Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 42nd Motorized Rifle Division of the 58th Combined Arms Army operates near Robotyne, and the 1455th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 42nd Motorized Rifle Division is near Novoandriivka. The 19th Motor Rifle Division of the 58th Combined Arms Army is operating near Pyatykhatky.
  • The 428th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 90th Tank Division has been withdrawn from the tactical group bypassing Pokrovsk from the west and redeployed to the Novopavlivka direction. Units of the 55th and 30th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades of the 41st and 2nd Combined Arms Armies, which lost combat effectiveness, have been withdrawn from the section between Uspenivka and Shevchenko (upper). The 74th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, the 87th Rifle Regiment of the 90th Tank Division of the 41st Combined Arms Army, the 433rd Motor Rifle Regiment of the 27th Motor Rifle Division, and the 15th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade of the 2nd Combined Arms Army continue operations in the main assault direction.
  • State of the troops of the 51st Combined Arms Army: The 110th and 114th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades are engaged in combat on the Novopavlivka direction. The 1st Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade is restoring combat effectiveness. The 5th, 9th, and 132nd Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades have significantly lost combat effectiveness after two months of intense fighting in the Toretsk and Vozdvyzhenka areas.

Possible operation situation developments:

  • Once the enemy sufficiently expands its bridgeheads on the Chornyi Zherebets River, the 25th Army, with forces of the 67th Motorized Rifle Division and the 164th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, will sharply intensify actions toward Torske and Yampolivka. This will mark the second stage of pushing “Khortytsia” OSG out of the bridgehead east of the Chornyi Zherebets River on the Lyman direction.
  • On the Toretsk direction, the enemy command is finalizing the deployment of the 8th Combined Arms Army within the operational zone of the 51st Combined Arms Army and is expected to launch an operation shortly, aiming to break through toward the area south and west of Kostyantynivka.
  • The operational plan of the 8th Combined Arms Army on the Kostyantynivka direction is to envelop the tactical group of the “Khortytsia” OSG, which is defending south of Kostyantynivka between Oleksandropil and Tarasivka from the flanks. The enemy aims to encircle and destroy this group or, if unable to do so, force it to withdraw from the area south of Kostyantynivka in a northwestern direction under the threat of encirclement. The ultimate goal of these actions is a two-pronged breakthrough from the southwest and southeast toward the area of Stepanivka – Berestok – Pleshchiivka – Yablunivka, followed by a simultaneous assault on Kostyantynivka from this area and from the direction of Chasiv Yar.
  • After the first stage (reaching the Poltavka–Pleshchiivka line), the enemy’s 3rd Combined Arms Army, reinforced by an airborne forces group, will attempt a rapid breakthrough from the bridgehead on the Siverskyi Donets–Donbas canal in the Chasiv Yar area, advancing from the northeast toward Kostyantynivka.
