Russian troops have made limited territorial gains, moving forward in the Sumy, Luhansk and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Analysts from the DeepState project said Russian forces advanced near the village of Yunakivka in Sumy district, Sumy region.

Russian troops are also pushing forward in the Serebryansky forestry area in Luhansk region. In addition, they are making gains in Dnipropetrovsk region.

Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight Russian attacks on the North Slobozhanske and Kursk axes, the General Staff said in its update.

On the Siversk axis, Russian forces attacked near Hryhorivka, Serebrianka, Dronivka, Fedorivka, Vyiemka and toward Dibrova. A total of 20 combat engagements took place in the past 24 hours. On the Novopavlivka axis, Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled 31 attacks around the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Filiyal, Poddubne, Oleksandrohrad, Voskresenka, Temyrivka, Shevchenko, Maliivka and Kamyshuvakha.

Kordon.Media reported that in Sumy region, Russian troops are present in the villages of Vladimirovka, Novonikolaevka, Alekseevka, Kondratovka, Konstantinovka and Belovody of the Khotyn community; Yablonovka, Varachino, Basovka, Yunakovka, Loknya and Sadki of the Yunakivka community; Maryino and Prokhody of the Krasnopolska community; and Bezsalovka of the Bilopolska community.

Focus previously reported that along the Sumy axis - particularly in the Khotyn and Yunakivka communities - Russian activity has decreased.

State Border Guard Service spokesperson Andriy Demchenko said Russia is redeploying part of its amassed forces to other sectors of the front, primarily in the south, where it is trying to concentrate resources for a larger offensive.
