Ukrainian troops have pushed the Russian rtroops back near the settlement of Volodymyrivka, close to Dobropillya on the Pokrovsk axis, according to the map by the Ukrainian analytical project DeepState.
DeepState reports partial Russian gains over the past day near Shakhove on the Pokrovsk axis; near Novoiivanivka on the Novopavlivka axis; near Shandryholove and Zelena Dolyna on the Lyman axis; and near Kondrashivka on the Kupiansk axis. None of these settlements has been captured, and fighting continues. Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces temporarily seized 12.9 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory, the project says.
According to Ukraineโs โDniproโ operational-strategic group, Russian troops have doubled the number of assaults on Ukrainian positions near Pokrovsk, attempting to prevent Ukrainian forces from encircling several Russian brigades in the area. Ukraineโs General Staff said that on September 18, Ukrainian troops repelled 87 attacks on the Pokrovsk axis.
Clashes are ongoing near Sukhetske, Rodynske, Krasnyi Lyman, Pokrovsk and other settlements. Seeking to reach the administrative border with Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian forces attacked near Novopodhorodne, Novopavlivka, Molodetske and Udachne, but failed to achieve their objective.
