Russian warplanes drop 11 more bombs in Russia and in occupied Donetsk Oblast, bringing the 2025 total to 125

Russian bombers dropped 11 more aerial bombs on Russian soil and in the Russian-occupied part of Ukraine’s Donetsk region, according to ASTRA Telegram channel.

ASTRA says that since the start of 2025, at least 125 aerial bombs (118 FAB and 7 UMPB) and three missiles have fallen from Russian aircraft on Russian and on occupied territories.

The latest incidents include:

- September 17: Two FABs in Belgorod region’s Shebekinsky district, near the villages of Ripnoye and Starikovo.

- September 21: Farmers found a bomb crater in a field near Nizhniye Piny in Rakitnyansky district, Belgorod region.

- September 22: Another bomb was found near the village of Bogorodskoye in Novooskolsky district, Belgorod region.

- September 25: An FAB-500 fell a few hundred meters from a residential house in Razumnoye, Belgorodsky district, Belgorod region. The same day, a bomb was found in Russia-occupied Osikove in Starobeshevsky district of Ukraine’s Donetsk region.

- September 27: An FAB fell from a Russian aircraft in Aleksandrovka, Volokonovsky district, Belgorod region.

- September 28: Two more FABs were found in Belgorod region — in Golofeyevka, Volokonovsky district, and in the hamlet of Antoshkin, Chervono-Gvardeysky district.

- September 29: A Russian aerial bomb fell in the occupied village of Rozovka near Shakhtarsk in Donetsk People’s Republic.

- October 2: Another FAB was found in the occupied settlement of Slavnoye near Shakhtarsk.

No injuries were reported in any of the 11 cases, ASTRA said.

Overall, ASTRA reports it is aware of at least 125 aerial bombs (118 FAB and 7 UMPB) and three missiles that have fallen from Russian aircraft in Russia and on occupied Ukrainian territory since the beginning of 2025. In 2024, at least 165 FAB bombs reportedly fell on those areas.

Earlier, it was reported that a Russian bomb fell near a residential building outside Belgorod, injuring three people, including a 13-year-old girl.
