Operators from the SBUโs Alpha unit, using FP-2 drones with 105-kilogram warheads, destroyed depots with Gerbera- and Zala-type UAVs and FPV drones behind Russian lines on the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) said.
In Pokrovsk, the tower of an industrial facility was destroyed after reconnaissance identified Russian drone operators, snipers and machine-gun positions there.
The Seventh Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces said Ukrainian troops had โclearedโ Russian forces from areas around the railway station, Sobornyi Square and the pedagogical college in Pokrovsk. At the same time, analysts at DeepState said Russian forces are moving into a full-scale battle for the city.
The Washington Post reports that in the battle for Pokrovsk, Ukraine must choose between preserving territory and saving its troops.
