Ukraine’s Forces carried out overnight strikes on four regions of Russia on November 30, with the heaviest damage reported in the Rostov region. Russia’s Defense Ministry confirmed the attacks.
Rostov Governor Yuri Slyusar also acknowledged the strikes. “In Novoshakhtinsk, an industrial facility caught fire as a result of the attack. The fire covered 50 square meters,” he wrote. He did not specify which site was hit. Novoshakhtinsk is home to a namesake oil refinery - the only one in the region and among the largest in southern Russia - with an annual capacity of 5.6 million tons.
Drones also damaged a heating plant in Gukovo, the governor said. The facility was shut down and staff evacuated, leading to partial disruptions to the city’s heat supply.
Seven drones simultaneously targeted Russia’s Krasnodar region, officials said. In Slavyansk-on-Kuban, a gas pipeline at the Slavyansk oil refinery was destroyed, though no fire broke out. Two homes — a private house and an apartment building - were damaged; debris from the drones shattered windows in seven apartments. No casualties were reported.
The Slavyansk refinery was previously targeted on August 13. The facility is owned by Slavyansk ECO and has an annual capacity of 5.2 million tons.
