Ukraine’s Forces say they have driven Russian troop out of the village of Tykhe in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The Russian breakthrough into Tykhe in the Dnipropetrovsk region has been eliminated. Soldiers of the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade cleared the village of the Russian troops and raised the Ukrainian flag.
Footage of the operation on December 6 was posted on the brigade’s Facebook account.
Russian forces had claimed the capture of Tykhe on October 21, releasing images of a soldier holding a Russian flag. A Russian group broke into the village and tried to entrench there.
Two weeks later, on December 5, troops of the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade, after carefully planning the operation, began clearing Russian forces from Tykhe. Ukrainian fire struck Russian positions, after which infantry entered the village and restored the Ukrainian flag.
“We officially state: as of December 6, 2025, the settlement of Tykhe is under the full control of the soldiers of the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade,” the brigade said.
