Ukrainian forces push back Russian troops near Novopavlivka

Ukrainian Forces are close to liberation Novopavlivka, leaving Russian troops without ammunition and food as they gradually lose positions and personnel.

Ukraine’s military has made gains on the southwestern flank of Novopavlivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region, pushing Russian forces back on the right bank of the Solenaya River. The advantage is expanding as the gray zone widens to the south; key supply routes into Novopavlivka are under fire control and effectively being cut, according to a serviceman from the 25th Separate Air Assault Brigade with the call sign “Muchnoy,” writing on his Telegram channel.

Prospects for the Russian side are grim: they risk being cut off from provisions and ammunition. “Without ammo resupply and reinforcements, they don’t last long there,” “Muchnoy” said, urging people to expect good news from that axis.

The 25th Separate Air Assault Brigade representative also described Ukrainian gains in Kupiansk. He said Russian forces are suffering setbacks in the Stadionnaya Square neighborhood: there is no continuous defensive line, only fragments. They are unable to halt the Ukrainian advance, and “the area is gradually tipping in our favor,” opening the door to further movement.

Ukrainian troops have pushed the Russians out and consolidated positions near a medical center and the local clinic, enabling control of adjacent streets. They have also taken up positions in a high-rise south of School No. 4, engaging Russian forces from above.

In the city center, only isolated elements of the Russian line remain, with those groups sheltering in basements and not attempting to control the perimeter.
