Russian companies involved in developing and producing drones used by Russia in the war against Ukraine, the agency’s press service said Monday, February 9.
The data appear in the “Aggressor’s defense industry” section of the War&Sanctions portal. The update includes:
- Agency for Digital Development LLC - developer and manufacturer of the Svarog line of cargo UAVs, which Russian naval infantry units used to supply occupying forces on islands in the Dnipro delta in Kherson region;
- Companies of the Aero-Khit group - developer and producer of Veles FPV drones, owned by Konstantin Basyuk, described as the Russian Federation’s “senator” from the temporarily occupied Kherson region, and receiving state funding from Russia’s budget;
- KB Microbe — developer of the eponymous FPV drone series, as well as JSC Ploshchad, which builds autopilot and machine-vision systems for them.
“The companies published should be included in the ‘blacklists’ of responsible businesses, financial institutions and export-control authorities in the countries of the free world,” GUR said.
The agency noted that more than half of the firms are still not sanctioned by any country in the coalition, allowing Russia to obtain technology, components and financing without hindrance.
Earlier, GUR published an interactive 3D model, component base and data on 31 companies involved in producing universal planning and correction modules (UMPK), which Russia is using at scale for strikes on Ukraine.
